Using my laptop, figured I’d post something I’m working on. I’d like to say, “Oh yeah, gang. You’ll see the finished product tomorrow!” Buuut…
Anyhoo, my friends and I are starting a superhero rpg soon, and I like to see my characters before I start playing as them. This guy’s been on the back-burner for a long time, the previous campaigns I tried to use him in petered out, so I’m looking forward to hopefully using him for more than a night or two.
So that whole… sketch a day thing? I’ve got a week’s worth on the computer, but haven’t had access to the internet, and my current connection is so garbage that it won’t let me do the picture dance (All these .gifs on my dashboard are wonderful). Soon, soon I’ll post them.
Drew this while I was waiting for the cops to show up at a client’s house so I could file a missing persons report. When they arrived we started doing the descriptions and they paused when they saw this scribbled on the back of a notecard. “Hey, Officer Pete. It’s just a Catwoman. What’s up, do you like Catwoman, too? Oh, right. That missing person. Yeah, let’s get back to that.”
I’m gonna try and do character sketches everyday, that way I’m at least doodling something on days when work has me driving to every corner of the state from sunup to sundown. They’ll probably be 3x5’s, since this Superman is what I started out with on the back of a notecard in a hotel room after MoCCA and it seems like a neat template for future shenanigans.
